Kelsy Burch is the owner and creator of Sol Remedies. Her passion for health and wellness began at a very early age. By the time she was twelve, she was digging up dandelion and burdock root from her family’s farm in Kansas; creating tinctures and teas to use as herbal medicine for herself and family. “As I grew, my interest and experimentation with herbs continued. At the age of fifteen I was bit by a venomous Copperhead snake while tending to my chores on the farm. My homemade herbal medicine most likely saved my life that day, as I was too far to travel to the hospital for help.”

Kelsy’s herbal education formalized when, at 18 years old, she was able to study under the renowned American Herbalist Rosemary Gladstar. Ms. Gladstar, among many accomplishments, is the founder of the California School of Herbal Studies, as well as co-founder of Sage Mountain Herbs. Kelsy was also the youngest person ever selected to intern and become certified at the Herb Pharm Herbiculture Program in Williams, Oregon.
